Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between BGM and BGF?

BGM, the German term for workplace health management, is the framework covering assessment, goals, action planning, metrics and responsibilities. BGF means workplace health promotion: concrete activities such as health days, movement, nutrition and workshops. FIT-UP supports program management through its platform and delivery on site.

Which company sizes can use FIT-UP?

From around 50 employees to large organizations across multiple sites. Mid-sized companies often start with a health day and the App; larger organizations frequently begin with a platform rollout across sites.

How long does implementation take?

A health day can often be arranged within a few weeks. A full platform rollout covering communication, roles and reporting is typically planned over six to ten weeks from decision to launch. Confirm the timeline for your scope.

Do we have to launch all three components at once?

No. The platform, health days and leadership program can be used separately. Combine them where this fits your goals, access routes and capacity.

How do you measure success?

Use participation and usage trends, suitable feedback and, where relevant data is available, company trends such as absence. Organizational reports are aggregated; personal health results remain private. Define metrics and comparison periods before launch.

What can employees do in the FIT-UP App?

They can use personalized movement, nutrition and mental wellbeing activities, join team challenges, view their health-day results and receive relevant reminders and content.

What participation rate should we expect?

Participation depends on communication, access and leadership support. A supported rollout and visible launch can make activities easier to discover; evaluate actual activation rather than assuming a universal rate.

Which data can the employer see?

Only aggregated reporting with safeguards for small groups. Employers cannot view individual health data, personal measurements or an individual’s app activity.

Can the platform connect to existing systems?

If you need single sign-on or interfaces to existing systems, we review technical feasibility with your IT team. Integration is not promised universally.

Can the platform use our branding?

Yes. A white-label version can use your logo, colors and naming, with agreed communication materials.

Which reporting does HR receive?

The dashboard shows aggregated registrations and active users and compares current and previous periods. Discuss further reporting and exports with us.

Which modules can a health day include?

Typical options include posture and movement analysis, HRV screening, BIA body composition analysis, nutrition advice, short workshops and movement sessions. Selection depends on employee needs and your goals.

Are screenings medical diagnoses?

No. Posture analysis, HRV and BIA are orientation screenings and do not replace a medical diagnosis.

How many employees can take part?

Capacity depends on modules and station count. We plan pacing beforehand and coordinate time windows for departments or shifts.

What is needed on site?

Usually rooms for stations, power, a departmental schedule and an internal contact. Communication templates are available for the announcement.

What happens after the health day?

Participants receive a personal report and can continue through the FIT-UP App with relevant programs, challenges and content. The company receives aggregated reporting within the agreed scope.

Can health days run across multiple sites?

Yes. We organize series across sites with coordinated dates and consistent reporting.

Who is the leadership program for?

Managers at all levels, from team leads to executives. Content and examples are adapted to the leadership level and industry.

Which topics are covered?

Managing personal pressures, recognizing concerns in teams, supportive conversations, return after extended absence and leadership’s role in workplace wellbeing.

How is the program structured?

It combines in-person modules, short digital sessions and workplace reflection tasks. Several modules over a few months are typical rather than one isolated training day.

How is progress evaluated?

Through self and team feedback before and after the program, participation in activities and qualitative module feedback. These observations do not automatically establish causal effects.

Can the program be booked without the platform?

Yes. Connecting it with the platform can help carry ideas between modules and provide managers with activities for their teams.

Where is data stored?

Processing uses servers within the EU. Data processing agreement and processing documentation are available for your privacy review.

Is participation voluntary?

Yes. Activities are voluntary. Clarify the applicable lawful basis and consent requirements for personal health data before rollout.

What do employee representatives need?

Usually the data categories, reporting safeguards for small groups and access roles. We provide documents for discussion and can join relevant meetings.

Can employees have their data deleted?

Yes. GDPR rights such as access, rectification and erasure are supported, and accounts can be deleted.

What does FIT-UP cost?

FIT-UP combines features and additional services around your needs. We discuss the scope that fits your target groups, sites and wellbeing goals.

Is funding available for workplace health?

Austria and Germany have different advisory and funding routes. In Germany, §20 SGB V course reimbursement and the §3 no. 34 EStG tax exemption require separate review. We help put options in context; specific entitlement depends on the service and current conditions.

What are typical contract terms?

Platform agreements usually cover twelve months, allowing a full annual cycle to be reviewed. Health days can also be commissioned individually.

Can we try it first?

Yes. A live platform demo and a pilot in one department or site are typical steps before a company-wide rollout. Agree the scope with us.
