Why is it important to have Google Fit on Android?
Having Google Fit on yourAndroid phone is mandatory to make Fit-Up working sync your data especially if you are using an external or third party device such as smart watch to track your daily activities and progress.
Unfortunately, at this moment there is no way to collect your fitness data from your device other than through Google Fit application. That is not the case only for Fit-Up but also for any other fitness app. This issue is related more to Android itself than to any third party app on it.
Regarding of that, please follow all of the steps below to make sure you connect Google Fit to your phone and Fit-Up app correctly:
1. Install Google Fit from Play Store
Go to the Google’s Play Store and search for „Google Fit“ App, than proceed with installing the app.
2. Enter your personal information
This is a crucial step, please make sure you enter all of your personal information for better and more precise calculations.
3. Install Fit-Up App from Play Store
Go to the Google’s Play Store and search for „Fit-Up“ App, than proceed with installing the app.
4. Create a Fit-Up Account or Sing in if you already have one
Use one of our available options to create your Fit-Up account or sign in.
5. Connect Fit-Up with Google Fit
Use one of our available options to create your Fit-Up account and sign in.
5.1. Connect Polar to Fit-Bit (if applicable)
Use one of our available options to create your Fit-Up account and sign in.
6. Ready to go!
To confirm if you have done all correctly, you should already see your Fit-Score and history of your activities if such exists. If there is no available synced data, please check if your today’s steps & calories are synced in.
